How long have I been giving you introductions? How many weeks have been rambling with the equivalent of previews of coming attractions? Four, if anyone was counting. And I have been using that time to work frantically in the background to turn libraries full of my notes and research into something you can use without devoting twenty plus years of one’s life to deciphering the conundrums and secrets that have been holding us all prisoner. So, what now? 

Now we act. 

So where to start? 

Ohto County

Well start with Ohto County. Start with the story. I have built this whole story and the associated world, because the human mind likes stories and journeys and maps. The human mind likes characters and action and drama. When memory athletes try to memorize numbers and decks of playing cards, they use systems such as the system of loci to link those things to ready made memorable places and people that the mind can more easily recall. That is what Ohto County is built to do, be a memorable set of memory hooks upon which to hang the necessary information that I have spent twenty years of research accumulating, sorting and refining. And if you browse your way through this page right from the landing page, you will learn about that memory system while populating that memory system with the very information that the system is designed to carry and encode. So start there and enjoy wandering through the fictional lands of Ohto County. You’ll learn more than you might expect.

Reading List

Scattered throughout the website are links to a, frankly monstrously huge, reading list. As mentioned above, I have built more own curriculum upon the books on this list. That said, you certainly should check my work. You certainly should review what I have reviewed to see if you make the same conclusions that I made. And may of the authors on this list make the points better than I could ever hope to make those same points. And so even on the most basic level, there is benefit to reading the reading list.

The Organizations

Humans are social creatures. We are adapted to the pack, the herd, the tribe. And so, whenever a human is trying to accomplish anything, a human should engage the power of the tribe and its social pressures and social support. And on that basis, I have built a schematic to allow people to build their own social support systems, with the structures and processes needed to produce the results that people following this path will be trying to achieve. I have based these schematics on groups like the boy scouts and the various fraternal organizations. I have structured this using the Swarmwise guidelines set out by Pirate Party founder Rick Falkvinge. The organizations are not mine, although I am part of such organizations. This is because the organizations are designed to be independent, self-organizing, and self administering. The organizational system is structured to be anti-pyramid scheme, and anti-cult mentality. We don’t need more prisons for our souls.

The Games

Humans like games. We learn through games. We remember things taught through games that engage us. And so in that spirit, a number of games are provided here that integrate with the Stories of Ohto County and the Organizations and incorporates the knowledge I acquired from the Reading List. The games here are the engine that powers all the other parts of this project. Now why is that? Because when you think about it, every religion and culture is a game played across a lifetime. And in order to free people from a toxic culture, we need to replace the toxic game that said toxic culture is trying to force us to continue playing.
