I’m changing gears here today. If you aren’t familiar with the excellent youtube channel Innuendo Studios by Ian Danskin, well I want to take a moment and recommend that you correct that. The channel rose to prominence with its series: “Why are you so Angry?” The series was an explanation of and attempt to dissect the gamergate movement and did a good job highlighting the early rise of the Alt-Right movement.
These days the flagship series is the “Alt-Right Playbook”, which discusses exactly what it sounds like it discusses. I’d recommend starting at the beginning. But if you are short of time I would recommend “How to Radicalize a Normie”, and “I hate Mondays” to get the most bang for your dollar.
Finally, I want to take a moment to recommend a short little video he did called “Things of Beauty: Super Smash Bros. as Spectator Sport,” which I am recommending for the beautiful way it talks about how we craft the stories of our lives. And also because it helped explain competitive e-sports to me.
