Radical Action

So let’s talk about morality. Morality is not objective, no matter what its purveyors try to tell you. Every code of morality is based upon assumptions and built to achieve goals. If you accept the morality of the colonial empire, you also accept the assumptions of colonial empire and the goals of colonial empire. If you accept the morality of a bronze age religion, you also accept the assumptions of that bronze age religion and the goals of that bronze age religion. We can rework older systems of morality, retool them to align more closely with our current assumptions and goals. But things remain.

What we propose is different. We propose studying how the human mind works, and how humanity interacts with the greater ecosphere. We propose building a new morality based upon what we have learned in the past two thousand years. We propose a new morality.

Yes, this is radical. We need radical solutions, in case you haven’t noticed. The world is losing the ability to sustain us as a species. And it is the direct result of our actions. radical solutions are required.
