I’m not going to link it, but if you are on social media you have probably seen Marjorie Taylor Greene telling people to “lie back and think of England” with regards to the rise of Christo-theocracy in the United States.
We are witnessing the death of another euphemism. Ian Danskin of Innuendo Studio talked about this at the beginning of Donald Trump’s rise in a video I will link below. The salient point, euphemisms die when the bigots feel they don’t need to hide their intentions any longer.
The Christian fascists feel that they have enough power to be blatantly fascist and bigoted now. And that should terrify everyone.
