We are in the midst of the sixth major extinction, species are dying never to return. The window on mitigating the worst effects of climate change is closing.

Ethics are not the same as politeness. And in certain circumstances, one can be ethical or polite but not both. This is one of those times. Be ethical. Be moral. But never mistake politeness for either. Politeness has dragged us to the brink as we fail to address the attacks by those who are neither ethical nor polite.
