I fear that the age of crypto-fascism is coming to an end, and we are about to enter the age of open fascism once more. The US Supreme Court has removed penalties on police failing to read Miranda Rights, has repealed Roe V. Wade, and is set to hamstring the federal government (giving carte blanche to far right governments in red states). Senator John Cornyn has openly called for racial segregation. Violence against LGBTQIA+ folks (especially Trans folk) is on the rise and laws are being passed at an alarming rate. Isolationists have full power in the UK, and in much of eastern Europe. Putin is rampaging through Ukraine.
The disguise that fascism is currently wearing a dollar store fake moustache. And they are about to pull that off. Get ready.
