The time is two minutes to eight in the evening as I write this. This is much later than I prefer to post. But life does not always work out the way I hope. And I adapt. I am still posting to this blog. I am meeting my other goals for the day. I did not finish things as early as I would like. But I finished them.
Years ago I watched a reality TV show about set design called Hot Set. In that show one of the teams used the motto: Done is Best. And that still resonates with me today. Perfect is the enemy of done. And so I choose to leave things imperfect, but finish them and continue to move forward. Today is an imperfect day. But it’s done. I got things done and out the door. And that is good enough.
