Results Matter

In January our little old dog had a major health crisis. I did a working to assist him. He recovered with medication and no need for surgery, and is now more happy and energetic than he had been for more than a year prior. Did the working help? It helped me. Did it help him? I don’t know. Causality is hard to pin down. Do I care if I can prove it did something supernatural? I do not. I care that he is snuggled on my lap right now, alive and happy. I did everything I could to help him. He is well. That is enough.
