Helstrom

I watched the first episode of the TV series Helstrom. He delivers a speech in the middle of what, at first, appears to be an exorcism. Basically he comments that secrets lose power when they are exposed. He is speaking about supernatural power. And I think that this is interesting.

Given my own ideas on the power of Story as Magick, I find this highly plausible. I recommend understanding the underlying mechanics of Magick via Story. I also recommend opening the Story you build up to Mystery and uncertainty. The Universe can surprise you if you micromanage it. You need to leave room for wonder, or your Story will be a laboratory report.
