The creation of the Universe is a mystery. The Firebird is silent on the creation. Weaver likes to smile and drop hints that she knows. The Great Serpent is a curious and we are about the creation. The Grey claims that it created the universe. But this is a lie.
The Grey is Yaldabaoth. It is demiurge. It is Urizen. It is Yahweh. But the Grey did not create the world. The Grey created the Empire and the Empire teaches its citizens to mistake the Empire for the world. Beyond the Grey’s creation, the Empire says, is the edge of the world. And you will fall of the edge if you stray past the border of the Empire.
The world the Grey has created is an attempt to enforce uniformity and conformity on creation. The Grey was born in the silence of the Dark Era of the Universe. It is a creature of entropy and stillness. The Stelliferous Era is loud and hot and chaotic. The Stelliferous Era is painful and terrifying to the Grey. The Grey is a victim who is inflicting damage upon others in an attempt to ease its own torment.
Regarding the creation of the Universe, only Mystery knows the truth of its creation. And Mystery is not answering questions at this time. Perhaps Mystery does not know. Or perhaps Mystery does not care.
We humans seek after knowledge of creation. And perhaps we will find it one day. But if we do, the only certainty is that this will reveal even greater Mystery, for that is the nature of Mystery.
