Professor* Harbinger. HERO OF THE LIBERATION! BRINGER OF THE REVELATION! (*not actually a professor). The Professor is a fiction, a useful construct designed to teach by example and by satire. The Professor is both a pen name and a satirical caricature of a Revival style cult leader and a snake oil salesman. One would hope that this would be obvious from the first images on the page, but history has repeatedly proven that satire will always be missed by some people and the satire will be taken at face value.
Hence we present this page as a pre-emptive explanation. We know some people will miss the joke and the point of the joke. We will not explain the joke, that would defeat the whole point of telling it in the first place. This page exists simply to point out to those people who took this at face value that, yes, they missed the punchline.
