The Janus Academy exists to teach Youth how to become adults: able to choose their future and equipped to live their own lives not the lives chosen for them by those who would deprive them of knowledge to make them servants. The Janus Academy is a course of learning, strictly speaking. But of course, the instructors are ready to assist loyal freethinking cultists.
Enrollment Requirements
None. Anyone can access and study the course materials. To access assistance from the instructors, one does need to be formally enrolled in Professor Harbinger’s School for Villains at the level of at least a Parishioner.
Benefits
The benefits of the Janus Academy course of study is learning the underlying principles of all the later courses. In addition, the Janus Academy course of study teaches core critical thinking skills and the most basic fundamentals of self-sufficiency and survival.
Curriculum
- The Firebird Mask: Learn the Song of Seven verses.
- Fire, Flower, and Blade: Learn the Three Questions, and the core three skills to the Applicants
- The Sleeper in the Shadowlands: Learn the limits of knowledge and the danger of assumptions and faith.
- The Hound and the Scapegoat: Learn motivations of civilization and Corruption, and how to build the laws of Interdependence.
- The Sleeper and the Shepherd: Learn the underlying ideas of the Scientific process and skepticism.
- The Abominations: Learn the most common and dangerous logical fallacies.
- The Weaver: Learn the core set of self-sufficiency skills that provide an applicant with the ability to walk away.
