The Great Serpent is also known as the Serpent, the Dragon, the Rainbow Serpent, and the World Serpent.

If the Firebird represents the birth of the Flame, the Great Serpent represents the carrying of the Sacred Flame. The Great Serpent represents ambition and drive. It represents the mindset necessary for the carrying of the Flame. Drive and ambition are positioned here as positive attributes, when aimed at noble goals. It represents the power of the tribe. It represents the spirit of heroism. The Great Serpent draws inspiration from Quetzalcoatl, from the Rainbow Serpent, from Jormungandr. The Great Serpent is connected to First Hero. And both tend to act first and think second. The Great Serpent is demanding, but loyal. The Great Serpent is stern and intimidating, but always helpful and supportive.
