Synopsis: The life cycle of the lesser Chimera known as the Water Bear as them move through several roles in the story: from dandelion still irritant, to distraction, to minor threat. The Water Bear is a pop culture memory of the tiny animal known as the Tardigrade- or water bear. Known to be able to survive near impossible circumstances including the void of space, the Shadowlands version of the Water Bear is thus a denizen of the Ring, going through an elaborate three stage life cycle. Beginning as floating balloon like spores and ending up as spaniel sized minor predators with scorpion like tails, the Water Bear will play many roles for Psychonauts as they traverse the Ring in their early Incursions.
