Where do I Start?

This is a big website, a sprawling thing. The page isn’t Wikipedia immense, but its big enough to be intimidating.

So where does a new reader start?

Here. Right here.

The Big Three Projects

Aardvark, Aardwolf and Ape Productions is a loose little assembly of creative people working on projects that they think can help improve the world by giving people more tools to understand their own thinking and to allow them to use their minds, and culture as tools under their control. Truth be told, there are barely a handful of us right now, but we’re working on that.

But if you’re new to the site, where do you start? Where do you go from here?

Well that depends on how you got here.

We have plans for more projects in the future, but currently the active projects are the following three: Blood Red Dreaming, The Mendasa Project, And the Song of Seven.

NOTE: Under Construction

The whole website is still very new and squishy and much of it is too incomplete to be usable at this time. The website will never truly be complete, the Ape is too grandiose for that, but bear in mind we are still in the scrambling to get our feet under us stage, and at any turn you may find the website equivalent to bare drywall or exposed wiring.

Thanks for Understanding and have fun.

If you are interested in dissecting your beliefs and putting them to work for you instead of being controlled by those beliefs blindly, then The Mendasa Project is where you should begin.

If you are interested in the power of stories and narrative, and want a game that you can use to express that, then you should begin with Blood Red Dreaming.

If you have an interest in Sustainability and how to apply it to your own life in a way that feels more inspiring that separating your recyclables, then you should probably start with the Song of Seven.

If you have an interest in self improvement and using game to enable progress in improving your life and in tricking yourself into a better you, then Blood Red Dreaming is the place to start.

If you have an interest in personal and financial independence and how that can truly be achieved, then a review of the Song of Seven will probably be a very welcome idea to you.

If you want to teach your children critical thinking and self-sufficiency in a way that will be more like play and less like a lecture, then you should learn how to play Blood Red Dreaming so that you can play the game with them.

If you have an interest in philosophy or theology or the occult and how humans have organized and transmitted information from one generation to the next, an interest in secrets and science, myth and magick, then you should start with The Mendasa Project.

And if all of this sound intriguing but overwhelming, then start with Blood Red Dreaming, because all of these projects are related and interwoven, and all lead back to each other eventually.

Second Note: If All of this Sounds Like Fun

If all of this sounds like fun, we are always looking for people willing to contribute to the projects. This isn’t a wiki, and you cannot simply add content or edit content on the website without getting the okay from the other people involved. But getting approval isn’t tremendously hard. The informational content posted on the site is all released into the Public Domain, so keep that in mind, but all content producers can post their own products here for sale (so long as they are relevant to the site) and retain all of the money from such sales.

Final say on everything goes to the Ape, he pays for the site after all. But if you disagree, well everything is in the public domain, so you are free to put up a site of your own. We may even link it.

And if you would like to use anything on this site, all original content is released into the Public Domain unless otherwise noted (keep in mind if we link or quote or otherwise reference outside content, that content will have its own intellectual property rights). This means if you want to use anything here, you can do so, no questions asked. If you decide to let us know, we can link it if we approve and even help to plug your stuff if we think it’s awesome.

So have fun and make good art.
