I find myself mulling over an unpleasant point lately. I find myself asking a question. Are we before or after the Munich Putsch? Was the January 6th attack on the US capital an attempt at the Reichstag fire or an attempt at Kristallnacht or an attempt at the night of long knives? Where are we on the fascist timeline?
Because we are on the timeline. Make no mistake. Trans folk are being demonized and recriminalized. The Republican party, already a far right theocratic oligarchic party, has been highjacked by the most extreme elements of their far right fascist wing. Brownshirt groups have been operating openly for years. We are on the timeline.
